This production line is customized for the assembly and comprehensive functional validation of Volvo's new energy vehicle charging inlet components. It focuses on overcoming three critical process challenges: performance testing of mechatronic parts, abnormal noise control, and pre-run run-in. The goal is to meet the brand's stringent requirements for long-term reliability and acoustic quality of the charging system.
Addressing the complex mechatronic nature of the charging inlet, the line deeply integrates precision assembly with multi-dimensional testing. Structural reliability is ensured through automatic press-fitting and torque control, while the integration of a noise test and motor performance test system enables simultaneous verification of functionality and acoustic quality. A unique calibration and pre-run station simulates real-world operating conditions to run-in the assembly and calibrate parameters, proactively exposing potential failure risks.
The line establishes a comprehensive quality firewall from visual inspection to final performance testing. Every critical parameter is captured in real-time and linked to the MES system via RFID, enabling full lifecycle data traceability for each individual component. This provides a complete digital closed loop for zero-defect delivery of charging inlet components and in-depth after-sales quality analysis.
