This production line is designed for the precision assembly and functional validation of universal joints for Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles. It focuses on overcoming three core challenges: dynamic reliability of high-load components, closed-loop control of process precision throughout the entire line, and safety access management. The goal is to meet the customer's requirements for zero-defect and traceability of critical drivetrain components.
The line is built around the concept of "data-driven precision." CCD vision systems integrated with TANTZU precision indexers achieve zero alignment error. Kistler servo press systems and Graco precision lubrication & weighing systems are employed to monitor and closed-loop control press-fit curves and lubrication quantities in real time, ensuring high consistency of critical process parameters. To address the dynamic reliability requirements of universal joints, a PROMESS pull-off force test system is integrated to simulate extreme working conditions and verify tensile strength and durability.
The entire line deeply integrates Poka-yoke (mistake-proofing) and EKS access control. Combined with the MES system, it achieves end-to-end data binding and traceability from individual parts to the complete assembly, establishing a comprehensive digital quality archive for each universal joint. This provides the foundational manufacturing assurance for the卓越 performance and safety standards of Mercedes-Benz drivetrain systems.
