This production line is custom-developed for the half shaft assembly of Mercedes-Benz's flagship pure electric platforms, the EQS and EQE. It addresses three core challenges: multi-sensor fusion-guided assembly, integrated testing of complex performance, and high-security traceable manufacturing, setting a benchmark for intelligent production of transmission components in high-end new energy vehicles.

The line is centered around flexible multi-robot collaboration and vision guidance. FANUC robots integrated with high-precision CCD positioning systems enable highly adaptable grasping and micron-level alignment of complex components. Critical assembly stations integrate Kistler force-controlled press-fitting and Graco precision lubrication systems to ensure that the mechanical performance of key connections and lubrication quantities meet precisely calibrated values. Keyence 2D/3D combined inspection systems then perform comprehensive dimensional and profile scanning validation.

To meet the customer's extreme requirements for quietness and smoothness, the line's process reliability design is specially reinforced. OTK automatic clamping and Desoutter intelligent screwdriving, combined with pull-off force and dynamic tracking tests, achieve fully closed-loop control of assembly quality. Using RFID as the information carrier, the line integrates MES data flow under EKS access control, constructing a fully digital manufacturing closed loop from individual component traceability and process error-proofing to quality analysis. This provides the underlying process assurance for the卓越 driving quality of Mercedes-Benz's electric platform.
