ZF Motor Rotor Automated Machining Line

This automated machining line is developed for ZF motor rotors, integrating high-precision machining, in-line monitoring, and intelligent closed-loop control into a unified automation solution. It focuses on overcoming three core challenges: maintaining multi-process collaborative precision, adaptive machining compensation, and end-to-end cleanliness and contamination prevention, meeting the stringent requirements of high-end electric drive systems for dynamic balance and operational consistency.

The line utilizes a robotic system integrated with floor rails to establish a flexible logistics network. Working in conjunction with CCD vision-based high-precision positioning, it ensures micron-level repeatable positioning of rotors across all stations. The machining process incorporates intelligent monitoring and an automatic tool offset compensation system, which collects cutting data in real-time and provides feedback for correction, achieving adaptive closed-loop control of machining accuracy and effectively ensuring dimensional consistency.

Addressing the sensitivity of rotors to cleanliness, the line integrates in-line cleaning and contamination prevention units to prevent machining residues from affecting dynamic balance. With the MES system as its core, the line connects the entire data chain from AGV loading and in-process machining to in-line inspection, unloading, and packaging. A complete process archive is established for each rotor, enabling quality traceability and process optimization, providing a solid manufacturing foundation for the reliable mass production of high-performance motors.
